Apple cider vinegar is a fermented liquid made by converting the sugars in crushed apples into alcohol (via yeast) and then into acetic acid (via acetic acid bacteria). The result is a sour, acidic vinegar that typically contains 4–6% acetic acid.

How to use

  • Mix with Olive Oil, mustard, honey, and seasonings for a tangy vinaigrette.
  • Ideal for quick pickles: mix with water , salt and herbs.
  • Reacts with baking soda to help baked goods rise (common in vegan baking)
  • Add a splash to soups, stews, or sauteed greens to brighten the flavour 
  • Health and wellness uses 
  • May help with digestion or blood control
  • Mix 1-2 tsp in a large glass of water optionally add lemon and honey.

  • Mix equal parts ACV and water. Add lemon peel or essential oils for scent.
